The mobile free-to-play adventure Warhammer Quest: Silver Tower will be getting Season 2 content-or rather, it just got it today. It's developed by Everguild, the studio behind The Horus Heresy Legions, which was also featured at the show. All major factions from the 40,000 universe will be included in the free-to-play game, and there are multiple single-player campaigns to complete before jumping into competitive play. Warhammer 40:000, WarpforgeĪnnounced at Warhammer Skulls, Warhammer 40,000 Warpforge is a new digital collectible card game for both PC and mobile. A new demo with an additional level is available on Steam now, as well, and the full game will come to PC, Nintendo Switch, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S. The Flash-like animation of Warhammer 40,000: Shootas, Blood & Teef definitely helps it stand out from the crowd, and after already releasing a demo, developer Rogueside has shared the final release date: October 20. Called Immortal Empires, it was teased with a chaotic pre-rendered trailer that featured a massive raid on a castle and a three-headed dragon. One of the biggest Warhammer games available right now (and one of the few non-40,000 games at Warhammer Skulls), Total War: Warhammer III is getting a new campaign. Developer Fatshark reiterated that the game will be released on September 13 for both Xbox Series X|S and PC, and it's coming in the $40 standard edition and a $60 Imperial Edition that comes with bonus outfits, portrait frames, currency, and cosmetic goodies. The previously announced (and delayed) Warhammer 40,000: Darktide is coming out very soon. The retro-inspired first-person shooter combines slick, fast-paced action with that nostalgic pixelated art style that id Software made so famous, and you'll be able to play it on PC, Nintendo Switch, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S in 2023. There wasn't a Doom-style Warhammer shooter released back in the '90s, but Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun was that game in an alternate reality. The studio's RPG credentials aren't in doubt, having previously developed Pathfinder: Kingmaker, which released to positive reviews in 2021. The first CRPG in the Warhammer franchise, Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader is in development at Owlcat Games and will release on consoles in addition to PC. A behind-the-scenes video focused on Saber Interactive's respect and love of the franchise, as well as how using established Warhammer 40,000 lore informed how the combat was designed. It was revealed back at The Game Awards in 2021, and Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 got its time in the spotlight during Warhammer Skulls, as well.
